Windsor Superset Invitation

It was a great day’s tennis at the annual Windsor Superset Invitation tournament on Saturday 20th May. 8 top Ulster players battled it out in some very close matches for the President’s Trophy.


Francis Venzon, Aaron Stubbs, Przemek Stec, Jakob Robb, Michael Blease, Stephen McCausland, Peter Corrie

Peter Corrie won the title for the first time, defeating seven-time winner Przemek Stec in the final. In the Mens Veteran Doubles, Nelson Boyle and Brian McRandal won against Steven Leeman and Willie Noteman.

Four members of the Spokes in Motion Wheelchair Tennis club gave a great demonstration of wheelchair tennis to a large crowd of spectators, an initiative in conjunction with the Windsor Disability fundraising programme.

Particular thanks must also go to Madeleine and everyone involved in organising a superb afternoon tea which was greatly appreciated by both players and spectators. Thanks to everyone who helped with the day and made it such an enjoyable occasion.
