Club breakin – business as usual!

club breakin

As some of you may know there was a breakin at the club a couple of nights ago. The alarm was tripped by a sole individual and local Windsor Heroes Greg O’Rawe and Martin Drayne made it down to Windsor. Wisely they decided to call the cops from the local South Belfast station and upon entering the club house  (cautiously 😛  ) they discovered that a small sum of cash had been taken. There was also some minor damage done to a couple of doors; the front door and the door to the bar in the function room. A quick tidy up and things are back to normal.

The Club Council wants you to know that the breakin has not affected any of the facilities at Windsor, and it’s a definite ‘business as usual!

The police are currently examining the CCTV footage and it is hoped that this may assist in catching the burglar.

If you have any questions please feel free to email club reception reception@windsortennis.co.uk. Actually this reminds me of the newsreader reading the news  ‘and it’s understood that a local man is helping police with their enquiries’. I used to think that it was awful decent of that wee man until Martin put me right….
