Development Coach of the Year 2011

Wendy was awarded Development Coach of the Year by Athletics NI last year and got her award presented to her by Olympic Gold Medallist Lynn Davies who won Gold at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 – he is also current President of UK Athletics. 

The second photo is with Lynn Davies and Mike Bull who was our own Commonwealth games Gold Medallist in the Pole Vault and Decathlon in 1974 in Christchurch – he remains the most capped British Athlete with 69 Internationals to his name – and the small person in the photo is Shortie! Alias Anna, Wendy’s daughter who is one of the Athletes that Wendy coaches and also a Junior Member of Windsor
