Saturday was Super Saturday
and I don't just mean the
rugby!
Ireland won the rugby (a good thing), Man Utd
lost (a good thing?), but on Saturday afternoon all five
courts were being used for Club
Afternoon (definitely a fantastic thing).
Last week was the same, all five courts
were being used, so what's behind this phenomenon? Well, the craic's
good, weather has been great, people are just enjoying
coming down the to club and meeting up with people
they haven't played with before. Tell you what tho', it's getting
warm in the Dome! Nothing a nice cup of tea (and
a generous slice of Mrs Fitz's coffee cake - courtesy of
Bernard Fitz) can't solve.
If you fancy coming down, things kick off
around 2pm every Saturday!
First Serve

- AGM is scheduled for
Wednesday 25th March - starting at 8:00pm. Further details
available on the website along with the Proposal Form - which you can also
pick up at
Reception.

Court Booker!
- just a quick update on
the WCB - we hope to be able to launch the revised version
in the next 10 days or so, and a reminder of the new
features:
-
Booking times - will
be on the hour and half-hour, some courts will be able
to be booked for 1.5 hours, others for 1
hour.
-
email notification of booker's partner and
opponents
-
off-peak members will
now be allowed to use the WCB to make
bookings
-
some other minor
enhancements
Some
stats:
We now have
made over 1400 bookings and welcomed
99 registered users
to the WCB.
