Pilates - go get your mats!!
Yip, Pilates is starting up again, next Monday. There are some places still available, with first preference being given to those who attended the classes in the Autumn. So, that'll be Cathy, Florence, Shonagh, Alice, Grania, Breege, Emmey and Madeline. Classes are open to both members and non-members, so feel free to invite a friend!!
Paula Lavery is a Physiotherapist as well as a Pilates instructor, and runs a well structured class, good crack as well!

Interested in Pilates? Details available on the website.

Cardio Tennis update!
With a break for the Christmas break, Cardio Tennis will be coming back to you in a new and improved format. Due to popular demand we will now be running 2 evening classes side by side in addition to the Monday morning, and while we are finalising the details with Simon and Przemek, it looks as if we will be starting Wednesday Feb 10, 7-8pm. Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 participants in each class so keep your eyes peeled for the poster going up on the Club Noticeboard over the next week or so. Website and 'The Racquet' will also be updated.

Dome Rules OK!!
We are so lucky to have the Dome - the recent cold snap has seen unprecedented use of Courts 4 & 5, where members have been able to play tennis whilst Courts 1-3 have been covered in the white cold stuff. The high winds at the start of this week resulted in a number of the strip lights being broken, and our supplier has been waiting for a suitable wind-free morning which will allow him to lower the Dome roof sufficiently to replace/repair the lights. We should be fully operational again in a couple of days.

Titbits
While we are still working on the final details, we thought you'd like to know of a couple of things that you can look forward to.

First up, we are looking to add a bit of spice to the Thursday Club nights, so we will be offering 15 minute taster sessions for those who want to grab a coach for 15 minutes 'hey, I need some work on my forehand/backhand/server/volley/whatever' - details to follow, but watch this space.

Next, February will see the re-introduction of Singles night on Friday nights (doesn't that sound a little dodgy??!!), which with the new singles Ladder will help those who love the solitary game improve their skills - again, watch this space!!
